Three states, not two. A row can name a real artist and still be waiting for their answer — drawing that as “claimed” would put a Book button on a relationship nobody has agreed to.

Two columns and never one total. An agency that reads a single number is an agency that spends a booking it has not got.

An artist answers free, busy or tentative — and you never see the reason they wrote next to it. That one is theirs.

Representation

Why artists say yes.

Because they can see exactly what you may do, and exactly what no permission here reaches. Nobody signs anything to try it.

not a column they have

They tick what you may do — and can untick it on a Tuesday.

That is not a weakness in the pitch. It is the pitch: an artist accepts representation inside TheJay instead of over email precisely because leaving costs them one click, so saying yes costs them nothing.

Sending something is not the same as being signed, and one click should not be able to confuse the two.

What it costs

Nothing a month. A share of what actually happens.

We are paid when a booking is confirmed, at a rate we agree with you in writing first. There is no standard number to click through.

Per month€0 At any roster size, for everybody in the office
Per artist€0 Your artists get the whole artist product free, and never see this fee
Per bookingAgreed with you The rate, what it is a percentage of, and any floor — written down before a single booking is charged
WhenOn confirmation At the rate agreed that day. Changing it later never touches a booking already confirmed, and a cancellation takes the fee with it

Why there is no number here. An agency taking a large share of a modest fee and one taking a thin share of very large fees are not the same business. One published rate would be too much for the first and too little for the second — so we would rather look at your roster and say something true. The rest of the price list.

Starting is a conversation,
not a sign-up form.

We set the workspace up with you and agree the rate in writing before it applies. Tell us the size of the roster and how you work, and we will tell you what it would cost.

Your artists get the whole artist product, free. Catalogue, press kit, demos, their own bookings — and one person can hold both, because a workspace is what its profile rows say it is. See what an artist gets.
